Information collected automatically

How we share information

We share information only as described here:

  • Participating partners. When you request a review and consent to be contacted, we may share your information with the lending and debt resolution partners listed on our Participating Partners page so they can evaluate and contact you about options. We do not share your information with companies not listed on that page for their own marketing.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us operate — such as our customer relationship management, messaging, telephone, and website hosting platforms — under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing services to us.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Emerge, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as follows: we may share your information with the participating partners you consented to be contacted by in order to fulfill your request, and with service providers (such as messaging and customer-support platforms) that act on our behalf to deliver our services. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms.

  • Texts: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
  • Calls: ask any representative to add you to our internal do-not-call list, or email [email protected].

Emerge Financial Solutions is a marketplace that connects consumers with participating lenders and debt resolution providers. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. Not all consumers will qualify for a loan or for any particular program. Loan availability, amounts, rates, and terms are determined solely by the lender and are subject to credit approval. Debt resolution programs are not available in all states; results vary and are not guaranteed; enrollment may negatively affect your credit, may result in continued collection activity or legal action by creditors, and forgiven debt may have tax consequences. We do not provide legal, tax, or credit repair services. Fees for debt resolution services are charged only after a settlement is reached and a payment is made toward it.
